Co-Teaching with Mother Nature
Thursday October 10, 2024 11:00am - 12:00pm EDT
In a world where students are increasingly disconnected from the natural world, this session explores how nature-based education can engage learners in transformative learning experiences and meet their intellectual, physical, and emotional needs. Kelsey will share her daily practice of integrating nature into her teaching—whether through outdoor learning, natural materials, or fostering curiosity about the environment. This session will provide practical tips on how any educator, regardless of location or resources, can apply these principles to enhance student engagement, promote well-being, and create meaningful learning experiences. Learn how to invite Mother Nature to become your co-teacher, and discover the unfolding possibilities of nature-based education!
