Motivating students to complete assignments with integrity and quality can often be accomplished by providing a purpose for their work. This session shows how to use the design thinking process--developing solutions to challenges-- to scaffold learning through student-created multimedia story projects. Learn how to use these assignments in every subject area as authentic assessments, and leverage curiosity to motivate students to seek solutions to challenges in their communities.
