The Project Approach: Actively Engaging and Empowering Students Across the Curriculum Middle School #1 of 4
Thursday October 10, 2024 1:00pm - 2:00pm EDT
Participants will learn about the Project Approach and discover how it is implemented in a high-impact, standards-based, interdisciplinary curriculum with students in grades 5-8. Presenters will share examples of lessons that harness student curiosity using inquiry and experience. They’ll share strategies for creating a classroom culture of learning from one another. Finally, presenters will guide participants to brainstorm a project topic and generate a plan for teaching an in-depth investigation by moving through the phases of the Project Approach.
